Which churches are involved, what time are the services and what are they like?

 

10:00am, All Saints in Thorpe Acre

All Saints, Thorpe Acre is a lively group of people who enjoy exploring the Christian faith together, supporting each other and taking part in local community life. We invite you to come and join us for our morning service. Groups for children from 3 to 14 are available and the service lasts around one hour and fifteen minutes.

 

10:00am, Good Shepherd, Shelthorpe

The Good Shepherd is a friendly and informal community church serving South Loughborough which seeks to cater for all people. We invite you to a service be based on Jesus Christ's message of eternal hope for a very needy world. Lasting around fifty minutes, the contemporary, informal service will be presented in an exciting and unusual way.

 

10:00am, Emmanuel, Forest Road

Emmanuel Church is a large, lively and growing community which welcomes everyone and anyone, in the expectation that all of us might be transformed by God's love. We invite you to a special morning service, which blends both contemporary and traditional styles. The service will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, and there is a wide range of groups for children of all ages, plus a crèche.

 

10:30am, All Saints with Holy Trinity

All Saints with Holy Trinity church is a welcoming and friendly church in the centre of the town which aims to provide something of God for everyone in the community. The traditional service will last for just under one hour and will involve all age participation and music appropriate to worship in a beautiful building which has served the town for over 600 years. There is an opportunity for coffee and a chat after the service if you wish.

 

4:00pm, St. Mary-in-Charnwood, Nanpantan

St. Mary’s is a welcoming group of people who enjoy informal but structured worship. We are seeking to discover how God is calling us to serve Him as a church in our locality. This special service of under an hour will be structured but will include time for private reflection and prayer. There will be a separate children’s activity provided for those who would like it.  It will be followed by a tea, to which you would be most welcome, afterwhich for those who can stay there is a 'homegrown' musical concert (free entry).
